Imaginarium’s new, interactive light festival, “Lemuria – A World of Wonder,” will bring a never-before-seen world of magic and fantasy to Milpitas’ Great Mall. The limited-time spectacle will be open from Saturday, April 12 to Sunday, July 6. Created by ICEG (International Culture Exchange Group), the visionary team behind the innovative Imaginarium light festivals, “Lemuria – A World of Wonder” will bring eight mystical realms to life, each blending dazzling lights, mythical creatures and captivating landscapes. Visitors of all ages will delight in this awe-inspiring walk-through event, which spans one-and-a-half acres in the Great Mall parking lot. Guests will explore the hidden world of “Lemuria,” brimming with gardens and forests brought to life with illuminated foliage of flowers and towering trees, while encountering simulated lava flows and the mystical creatures that inhabit each magical land.

Imaginarium “Lemuria – A World of Wonder” will showcase a collection of visual delights and incomparable attractions, including:
- Eight Mystical Realms – Wander through glowing gardens and forests; along shimmering water features; and into caves and valleys filled with vibrant creatures. Along the way, guests will come face-to-face with creatures big and small, delightful and even scary, portraying the diversity of the creatures that inhabit Lemuria. It’s equally romantic for couples as it is fun for kids, presenting numerous photo ops at every turn.
- Infinity Mirror Rooms – Step into a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of reflections where light stretches into infinity. The immersive mirror rooms will be seamlessly embedded into the landscape of Lemuria’s realms, creating an awe-inspiring illusion of never-ending light.
- Photo Boxes – Capture unforgettable moments in intricately designed photo spaces that blend into each realm’s theme. Guests can pose on a crescent moon, couch, throne or swing while surrounded by flowers, shimmering stars and other enchanting elements.
- Immersive Activity Rooms – Navigate through laser mazes, manipulate interactive art and jump on illuminated bouncing balls – all integrated into the environment of each mystical realm for a fully immersive experience.
- Aqua Live Spectacular – Presented by Sensational Murcia Productions, this one-of-a-kind performance will combine thrilling circus acts with water elements. Filled with everything from fast-paced juggling and hula hoop acts to a beautiful aerial display featuring live mermaids, this acrobatic fantasy of water and lights will be performed three times each night.
Imaginarium “Lemuria,” located at 447 Great Mall Drive, will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; and from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The event will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. General admission tickets start at $21 per person, with discount ticket prices available for children ages two to 12, seniors over 62 and military with valid I.D. Children under three are free.
